5-Year-Old Girl Accidentally Orders Rs 34,000 Worth Items On Amazon Without Telling Her Mom

Amazon has been always in news for one or other reason. Most of the time there are incidents when some notorious youngster tries to dupe the company, but this time, this is an ample yet cute mistake committed by a five-year-old girl named Bella.

Sophie Stone, Bella’s mother received an ultimate shock of her life when an Amazon parcel reached her doorstep that cost almost USD 400. Sophie had no clue about the parcel and did not know who ordered it. While the family was still trying to figure out what had happened, her little daughter, Bella said, “My necklace has arrived.”

Stunned by her daughter’s response, Sophie immediately logged into her Amazon account and saw that her recent purchases included USD 141 necklace and 12 Disney Moana fish hook toys all costing USD 379. Her daughter, Bella then said that she accidentally ordered the items through voice recognition technology while she was playing on the family’s Amazon Fire tablet device.

Sources quoted Sophie saying, “When the postman first showed up, I was so confused. I was trying to remember what I’d ordered, then began wondering if my husband, Dan, had bought me a present.”

In addition to that expensive order, Bella also signed her mum up to a 6-month subscription of Amazon Music and bought DVDs os the children’s Trolls and Boss Baby. This little girl has two siblings Ellie, eight and Oliver, two. Sophie said that they all have their own passwords, but Ellie knows it and told Bella so that she could log in.

Sophie was initially shocked by the order, but later got relived as soon as her friends told her about the possibility of refunds. She said, “Thankfully, Amazon staff were very understanding and the funds were credited to her account straight away.”

Now, after all, this has happened, Sophie explained to her daughter that she cannot order things like that, on a safe note, Sophie has now changed her password.
