The police in Brazil carried out a giant anti-murder drill in every state of the country on Tuesday, the police drill led to the arrest of 968 murder suspects in one day alone.

This was announced in a statement that was released by the National Council of Civilian Police Chiefs.

The arrests include 56 people who are killers or are included in an act of domestic violence and gender-based discrimination.

The operation was part of the large operation “Cronos”.

The raids were done in each state of the country.

The Civil Police of Para, a northern state in Brazil, said, “By imprisoning murderers, we hope to prevent future crimes.”

During the first phase of Cronos, which was done in August, the Brazilian police arrested 3000 people who were involved in crimes like domestic violence, robbery, murder, gender-based killings, and many more.
