Minjur Gopi, who had alleged that AR Murugadoss had stolen his story and made Kaththi out of it, withdrew the copyright violation case against the director recently at the final minute for reasons known only to him. Now, A.R. Murugadoss had hit back by filing a defamation case against Gopi and opened up on the alleged intellectual theft for the first time.

AR Murugadoss files defamation case against Gopi:

The reason why Minjur Gopi has filed a case against A R Murugadoss is that using a copied story for the film Kaththi. Later Gopi himself has withdrawn the case in the court.The court has fined Gopi for causing unnecessary chaos and disrupting the judicial function. With this Gopi has unnecessarily created rumours on the story of the film. So, now the director of the movie A R Murugadoss filed a case of defamation case on Minjur Gopi.

Following this, AR Murugadoss has reportedly filed a defamation case against Gopi. Stating that such people crop up all the time to gain instant fame and money, AR Murugadoss said that they should be nipped in the bud or taught a lesson and hence the defamation suit. The director said that he knew justice would prevail and is happy to have come out of this allegation unscathed.
