HTC (High-Tech Computer ) is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Founded in 1997, HTC began as an original design manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer, designing and manufacturing devices such as mobile phones, touchscreen phones, and PDAs based on Windows Mobile OS and Brew MP to market to mobile network operators who were willing to pay a contract manufacturer for customized products. After initially making smartphones based mostly on Windows Mobile, HTC expanded its focus in 2009 to devices based on the Android, and in 2010 to Windows Phone. As of 2011, HTC primarily releases and markets its smartphones under the HTC brand, ranking as the 98th top brand on Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2011 report. A September 2013 media report stated that HTC’s share of the global smartphone market is less than 3 percent and its stock price has fallen by 90 % since 2011.

 

It has a good connectivity package and brings 4G LTE connectivity on a budget. In addition to that, it gets 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and NFC too. The connectivity package is that of a high end device and HTC has done well to bring it to a budget device.

HTC Desire 510 Short Review:

HTC Desire 510 is a newly launched android smartphone from  HTC company.It has announced the successor to its affordable Desire 500smart phone. It is the first smart phone from the company with 64bit processor and4G The Desire 510 brings with it a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 510 64-bit chipset which gets coupled with an Adreno 306 GPU. The CPU is based on Cortex A53 artchitecture. LTE network support that will be launched in affordable category. Its price and availability details are not yet officially confirmed but it is expected to launch in India in association with Airtel, Reliance and few more telecom operators at price Rs 14,449/-. HTC Desire 510 – Display and Configuration:

It comes with a 4.7 inch screen which has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels which results in a pixel density of 208 ppi.. It runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat with Sense 5.5 UI on top of it which brings features like Blink feed and Zoe to the device alongside a wide array of Zoe functionalities. The internal storage capacity of the Desire 510 stands at 8GB which can be expanded further by another 128GB with the help of a micro SD card slot.

HTC Desire 510 – Battery and Connectivity:

The HTC Desire 510 scores great when it comes to connectivity. Features include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, DLNA, HTC Connect and micro-USB 2.0. Note that the 4G LTE and NFC features of the phone will be available in select countries only. It is fuelled by a 2,100mAh battery, which claims to offers up to 17.17 hours of talk time and up to 646 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The Desire 510 comes in Terra White and Meridian Grey colour options, and is compatible with HTC’s Dot View case.

HTC Desire 510 Smart Phone Price in India:

HTC Desire 510 smart phone is announced today as successor to desire 500 but its pricing details are not yet revealed. It is expected to launch in India at price Rs 14,449/-. Company will launch it in association with telecom operators like Airtel, Reliance, MTNL etc. The device will be available on all leading retail and online store in coming few days.
