Mukunda  is an Latest upcoming Telugu film written & directed by Srikanth Addala. The film was produced by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) under the banner Leo Productions. It features Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, the former making his debut in Telugu cinema. Rao Ramesh, Prakash Raj, Nassar and Brahmanandam were seen in other key roles. V. Manikandan was the film’s director of photography. Mickey J Meyer composed the film’s soundtrack and background score. Marthand K. Venkatesh edited the film.

Production began on 27 February 2014 at Hyderabad. Principal photography commenced on 24 March 2014 at Cochin and was completed on 16 December 2014 at Hyderabad. The film was initially titled as Gollabhama. Apart from Hyderabad, the film was predominantly shot in Andhra Pradesh at places like Rajahmundry, Bhimavaram, Amalapuram etc. while parts of thew film were shot at Cochin and Alleppey in Kerala and at Kanyakumari, Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 24 December 2014.

Movie Review:

In this movie Mukunda, Varun Tej is in the male lead role which is the debut movie for him in the Tollywood Film Industry. In spite of his debut movie he is said to have done a pretty good job for this movie. In this movie he is donning the role of a Volley Ball player. Pooja Hegde is the female lead role which is the second movie for her after Oka Laila Kosam which also has Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. Director is pretty much happy with the performance of Pooja Hegde.

Mukunda Film begins a small rural town in a Godavari region. A Political leader Rao Ramesh have two daughters, commonly his elder daughter loves her classmate, he is a low caste guy. Varun Tej as a friend of Rao Ramesh’s Daughter Lover, Varun Tej saved his friend from Rao Ramesh goons and from after he is going to against Rao Ramesh. Pooja Hedge as Rao Ramesh’s Younger Daughter, Varun Tej and Pooja Hedge love story bigin, this love makes Rao Ramesh more anger. Before the interval the small suspense in this love story.

Varun Tej saving his and his friend life fromt he goons, After that he decided to damage Rao Ramesh political life. Prakash Raj entrance as selfless social worker. This movie Mukunda has completed the shooting part way back and the makers of this movie have locked the date of its theatrical release on 24th of December, 2014. As this movie is the debut one for Varun Tej who is coming from the Mega Family the makers are taking this movie release prestigiously and wants to release in a wide range.

Mukunda is a very good family entertainer under the direction of the director known for making such films ( Srikanth Addala).  The movie starts with a college backdrop. Pooja Hegde plays the role of Rao Rame’s daughter , she is a college going student. Rao Ramesh plays the role of municipal officer in this movie. Varun tej attracts everyone with his screen presence in the song ‘chesededo”
