Sachin Tendulkar Reacted To The Ball Tampering Issue, This Is What He Had To Say About Smith&Co

Australian team is in nadir ever since the ball tampering issue happened, For the first time in the history of Cricket the captain and vice-captain has been banned for year for ball tampering, Both Smith and Cameron Bancroft addressed the media and seemed to be totally broke, They are ashamed of their deeds but it’s already late, The damage is done… The so-called pride of Australian team has touched the lowest point. Whole Cricket Fraternity is in shock by this incident, This is how Sachin Tendulkar Reacted to this situation.

Steve Smith Apology

Sachin has known to be one of the finest player and most importantly A Gentleman to play the game of Gentle Men, He always respected the game he played, He was also alleged for ball tampering by umpires in 2001 but later ICC withdrew the charges as it wasn’ proved. After such outrage by people and media on the current situation Sachin finally came forward to talk about the issue. These are his Words.

“Cricket has been known as a gentleman’s game. It’s a game that I believe should be played in the purest form. Whatever has happened is unfortunate but the right decision has been taken to uphold the integrity of the game. Winning is important but the way you win is more important.”

Sachin has made it clear that what Smith and Co did was wrong and against the spirit of the game. Yes, winning is important but how you win is what defines the game. For a batsman of his caliber, he should have been more confident in his talent than the silly tricks.

But after all the outrage by fans and media finally, Smith and Bancroft came in front of the cameras and spoke about the situation. They were broke and ashamed of what they did, But the way they have been treated and the 1-year ban was little too much for ball tampering which happened many times on the field. This is how Shane Warne the legendary leg-spinner of Australia reacted to the situation.

“Let’s take the emotion out of it. We are all feeling angry and embarrassed. But you need a level head and you shouldn’t destroy someone unless they deserve to be destroyed. Their actions were indefensible, and they need to be severely punished. But I don’t think a one-year ban is an answer.” This is what he wrote in his column.

Whatever they did on the field is a desperate act to win the match, It’s not a crime it was stupidity, And the outrage following that is very harsh on them.
