Telangana: 19-year-old boy commits suicide by shooting himself with his father’s licensed gun after realizing that he had failed the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam).

The Neredmet City Police said, 19-year-old Sohail committed suicide by using the licensed gun of his father.

The police added that Sohail was waiting for the JEE results and became depressed after realizing that he failed the Joint Entrance Exam.

The father of Sohail was a serviceman who is now working as a security guard at a local bank.

Sohail was brought to the Gandhi Hospital in Telangana for an autopsy.

The Neredmet City Police said that a case has been registered under the CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code) section 17, and added that a probe has been launched for the incident.
