Nagpur, Maharashtra: Authorities arrested a 55-year-old man for raping a 7-year-old girl on October 23, 2019, on the pretext of giving her money.

Authorities arrested 55-year-old Ramdash Shendur on October 24, 2019, after a medical exam confirmed that the minor was raped.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man called the girl to his house on the morning of October 23, 2019, and promised that he would give her money.

The man ended up raping the 7-year-old girl inside the house.

The police lodged a complaint against 55-year-old Ramdash Shendur after the girl narrated the entire incident to her parents.

A medical examination also confirmed that the 7-year-old girl was raped.

Authorities arrested 55-year-old Ramdash Shendur under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
