The first teaser for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was released online just now. this sprawling romantic drama stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and — in what is said to be an extended cameo — Fawad Khan.

There’s romance, both the warm kind and the intense kind. Ranbir’s eyes do the talking for him, while Anushka’s histrionics make her instantly likable. What immediately makes you sit up take note is Ranbir and Aishwarya’s chemistry.

There is romance but, as the title suggests, matters of the heart are mushkil, and so there is also heartbreak. The last dialogue about one sided love and unrequited love will haunt and stay with you.
