JEE Main Examination is conducted by CBSE Board. Interested candidates can register for this exam and get admissions in UG Engineering/Architecture courses in NIT, IIT and some other institutions. Candidates who are qualified in JEE Mains will be eligible to take up JEE Advanced Examination. JEE Mains 2017:

Joint Entrance Main (JEE Main) is controlled by Central Board of Secondary Education through which candidates get admission to Engineering, Architecture and other allied courses. All the allied courses are offered by private, government and centrally funded colleges.

Candidates who are applying for JEE Main 2017 must have Aadhar Card. The application form will be available on the official website from 1^st December 2016. Candidates can attempt JEE Mains for three times only and applications for this can be submitted through online.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are requested to go through the eligibility criteria and then apply for JEE Mains 2017. Eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2017 Examination are given below:

Education Qualification:

Candidates should have qualified in 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s date of birth should be after 1^st October 1992 for General category and 1^st October 1987 for reservation category.

JEE Main examination has two papers.

1. Paper I for Engineering and Paper II for Architecture.
2. Paper I include Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for 360 Marks.
3. Paper II include Mathematics 30 questions, aptitude test 50 questions and drawing test 2 questions all together for 390 Marks.
