GoAir Flight Bound for Kolkata Gets Hit By Turbulence which Injured 2 of its Crew Members
2 members of the cabin crew in the GoAir Flight Bound for Kolkata sustained minor injuries on Tuesday after it went through severe air turbulence.
Luckily all the passengers did not attain any injuries during the turbulence, the pilots also managed to land the airplane safely in at the Kolkata Airport.
The airline company did not release the official numbers of the passengers onboard on the flight that went through the severe air turbulence.
The GoAir spokesperson said: “GoAir flight G8 761 operating on Bhubaneswar-Kolkata route experienced severe turbulence wherein two crew members suffered minor injuries and were administered medication at the dispensary at Kolkata airport.”
The company also added that the weather in the last few days was really harsh.
GoAir also said that both the co-pilot and captain of the airplane managed to land the plane successfully at the Kolkata Airport.
The airplane that went through severe air turbulence went through an inspection to assure that the airplane did not attain any damages, after the inspection was made the plane was released for subsequent flights in Kolkata.
