Jammu And Kashmir: Terrorists Kidnap Army Man From His Home in Budgam

Army Man Mohammad Yaseen Bhat a Rifleman in the Indian Army has been kidnapped by terrorists from his home in the district of Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening. Army Man Mohammad was currently on his 1-month leave and was visiting his home which is located in Qazipora Chadoora.

Mohammad Yaseen Bhat returned to his home on 26 February. Reports say that he was kidnapped by armed terrorists who stormed his house. The government of Jammu and Kashmir and the army officials are putting in efforts to locate Mohammad Yaseen Bhat.

The kidnapping happened after the security in the region was tightened after the Pulwama terrorist attack that killed 40 CRPF soldiers. The attack was done by the Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan based terrorist group.

In 2018, a rifleman that was carrying 44 Rashtriya Rifles was kidnapped in Pulwama while he was returning home in Poonch to celebrate Eid with his family, he was shot dead by terrorists.

The killing of the soldier created grief in Mendhara a village that is 250 kilometers away from Srinagar. 50 men left their jobs in Saudi Arabia to return to the village just to join the army and police to avenge the death of their villager.

The murder of Aurangzeb was followed by the killing of the 2 police officers and CRPF men while they were on a leave.
