Strange! Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali Has A Double Climax
Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is making News from the day of the announcement of the movie and the movie was finally released on July 22, with mixed response from all over. But here’s a shocking news revealed about it after the release. The climax released in Malaysia is different from the Tamil and Telugu versions released in India.
Double Climax For Kabali!
The ending of any movie is obviously as important as its beginning as it gives a definite closure to the viewers rather than leaving them in the lurch about what could have been.
The audience of Malaysia who has watched the movie got to see a different climax from that of the climax viewed by the Indian audiences, with a message of “crime does not pay“. The news spread after the Malaysian audience discussed this via social media.
Since Kabali is based in Malaysia, which has a large Tamil origin population, anxious authorities must be concerned that the film may give them the wrong kind of message that they may seek to follow and affect racial relations between communities.
The decision has left local fans of the superstar fuming. The original ending scene in the movie was intentionally left ambiguous, but the local version leaves nothing to the audience’s imagination.
Can we expect Kabali 2???
Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu told, “We created an open-ended climax for ‘Kabali’. So, director Ranjith and I are interested in a sequel for this gangster flick. However, Rajinikanth will have to give us the nod to carry on. The film’s collections indicate that it is a sensational hit, and has surpassed all records”.
People who have watched Kabali in India with “unfinished” climax may have Kabali 2.
