The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) released notification for the Kerala Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance Exam dates, syllabus, exam pattern and other details. Candidates who are looking for the admissions into the engineering courses at one of the institutions across the State can apply for the KEAM 2017. KEAM is an entrance exam for the candidates to get admission into a various course offered by the state. The official notification will be released in the month of January 2017.
KEAM 2017 Notification:
Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance exam is a state level test in the state of Kerala. The Common Entrance Exam Kerala is the familiar name knows to everyone in the state. The candidates who qualify in this exam are eligible to get admission to professional degree courses in various fields such as Engineering, Medical, Architecture, Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry and few other courses.

As per the government orders, there will be no state-level entrance exam for Medical & Allied courses and all such admissions will be done through NEET. However, preparation of the Kerala state rank lists and the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for both Medical and Engineering streams will be done by CEE Kerala. Hence, the candidates must necessarily apply online to both the CBSE and CEE, Kerala.

Exam Dates:
- Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) – 24th April 2017
- Paper 2 (Mathematics) – 25th April 2017
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
The candidates must have qualified 12th standard or any other equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Age Limit:
The candidates must have 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year. No relaxation is permitted.
Application Fee:
The candidates belong to the general category will have to Rs. 1000/- and other reservation categories should have to pay Rs. 500/-. No application fee for ST candidates.
KEAM Exam Pattern:
- The examination will be held in 2 parts for which the time duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes for each part.
- The KEAM exam consists of MCQ type questions.
- This is an offline mode exam with 120 questions in each paper.
- Each question carries 4 marks, and 1 mark will be taken as negative marking.
