Police Report: A 63-year-old doctor was arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl who was his neighbor.

A police officer from the Khar Police Station said that the incident happened this week.

The girl said that she went to the house of the 63-year-old doctor to get the spare keys to their home.

The police officer said, “The girl’s mother had given a spare set of keys to their house to the doctor. She had asked the girl to collect the keys from him.”

He added, “When the girl went over to his place, the doctor hugged and kissed her, which made her uncomfortable.”

When the mum of the 14-year-old girl returned home, she narrated what the doctor did to him.

The mother took her daughter to the Khar Police Station where she registered a case, the police registered it under the IPC and the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

The police did not reveal the identity of the 63-year-old doctor.
