Neeraj Pandey Reacts On Gautam Gambhir’s Martyrs Biopic Comments
A few days ago, we had seen 18 Indian Army soldiers sacrificed their lives for the country in the terrorist attack at Uri, Jammu & Kashmir region. The whole country reacted and expressed their anger against the attack. Celebrities, Cricketers, and Politicians expressed their sorrow and felt sad upon the deadly incident.
What Did Gambhir Mean?
Indian Opening batsman Gautam Gambhir also reacted and said the soldiers who died in the attack deserve a biopic as they will be the best inspiration than any cricketer on the micro-blogging site Twitter. The tweet has gone viral on social media that whom did Gambhir mean in the tweet? Is it MS Dhoni?
These 17 martyrs deserv a biopic rather dan any cricketer. No better inspiration dan a young man sacrificing his life 4 his country.

Hence, Neeraj Pandey, the director of the biopic, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ claims that a filmmaker should talk about everything. “I’ve made films on both. We make stories. It’s not that every film should be of a particular genre or anything like that. I think as storytellers we need to talk about everything,” said Neeraj Pandey.
He also pointed out that MS Dhoni is a serving Lt Colonel in the Indian Army. “This story is about the hero in us. It’s a very motivational inspiring story. That can come from anyone. And MS (Dhoni) is a serving Lt Colonel in the Indian Army. So that should answer your questions,” he said.
Hero Sushant Singh Rajput also reacted and said that it all depends on whether a story is worth telling or not. “Films are made on stories. I’ve played an engineer five times in the theater. The story wasn’t on an engineer, but the inherent story. If the story is worth telling, then you can play anything,” he said.
Adding to it, Director Neeraj Pandey said that Dhoni was silent for about 10 minutes after watching the movie as if it had really touched his heart.
