The Central Board of Secondary Education has invited application for eligibility to attend the entrance test (UG) – 2017. CBSE will conduct the entrance test NEET, 7th May 2017. The online application is said to begin from January 31 and will end on March 1st, 2017. CBSE NEET 2017 Notification:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves. However, many colleges and institutes have taken a stay order and conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.

NEET 2017 Exam Pattern:

The NEET exam pattern is as follows: This exam is conducted for BDS/MBBS courses. There are about 180 multiple choice questions with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany subjects in it. The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi languages. The duration of the examination is 3 hours. For every negative answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates must pass in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English individually

Age Limit:

The candidates should be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years for all general category students. The age relaxation of 5 years, i.e., till 30 years for reserved category.

Application Fee:

The general candidates should pay Rs.1400 and Sc/ST/PH candidates should Rs. 750 towards the application fee. This fee detail is without late fee.
