Police officials say that 6 people were arrested in Koira area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district, they were all connected in killing a woman and 4 of her children.

Police officer Susant Das said that the 6 people were arrested after a preliminary investigation showed that they were the one behind the gruesome killing, they killed the woman and her 4 kids on Friday Night.

In the investigation, the police also found out that there was a feud between the 6 people and the woman, police say that the woman was practicing witchcraft and caused harm to the 6 people.

The dead woman and her 4 kids were found near their house in Indupur Village, the police officers recovered their dead bodies.

The woman was identified as Mangiri Munda (30), wife of Sidia Munda. The dead Body of her 10-year-old daughter Mara Munda, son Tekel Munda (9), Chamar Munda (4) and one-year-old daughter was also found in a well nearby.

The incident happened on Friday Night, police say.

Sidia Mundar started to wonder when he could not find his wife and 4 kids on Saturday morning, he then started to search them and informed the police about the happening.

The police officers found blood stains in the house that led them to the well, a slab was seen covering the well when the police removed the slab they saw 5 dead bodies inside it.

The local police also found sharp objects in the crime scene.
