In a dreadful incidence in Uttar Pradesh, seven children were killed and others sustained injuries while 3 of them are said to be critical after their school van collided with a train at an unmanned crossing in Bhadohi district today. The children belongs to Tender Heart Public School of the same district.

According to the reports, a railway employee, who was reportedly present at the crossing, apparently tried to stop the van from crossing the tracks as the train was approaching. However, the driver of the van allegedly neglected him and went through, causing the van to hit with the Varanasi-Allahabad passenger train.

Local people set the fire to the school van by blaming the driver for the accident and the driver was taken into custody

Police officials have reached the spot and investigating the case and railways has announced a three-member committee to investigate the incident.
