Rachakonda: A 26-year-old school teacher was arrested for sexually abusing girls in a school at the Edulabad Village, the students complained about the incident to the SHE Team of Rachakonda, the girls stepped up after a program about child sex abuse was conducted in their school.

The SHE Team is a part of the Telangana Police which enhances the security and safety of women in the state.

The She Team held an awareness program on their school premises on April 3 and explained everything a girl should know about the good touch and the bad touch.

After the program ended, a couple of girls approached the SHE Team and informed them that their teacher, 26-year-old Ramana Murthy, had been sexually abusing them for the past 2 years.

26-year-old Ramana Murthy has been a teacher in the school since 2013.

The girls also said that they were harassed and beaten up by Ramana when they tried to fight him.

A case was registered against 26-year-old Ramana Murthy and he was arrested by the police afterward.
