Train-18 Named “Vande Bharat Express”

The fastest train in India will be called “Vande Bharat Express” this was released today by Minister Piyush Goyal. The train is set to run between Varanasi and Delhi at the speed of 160kmph. It will be flagged by the Prime Minister of India.

The train cost around Rs. 97 crores and took 18 months to build it by the ICF (Integral Coach Factory) in Chennai, this will be the successor of the 30-year-old Shatabdi express.

Minister Piyush Goyal said:”Train 18 will now be known as Vande Bharat Express. It’s a train built completely in India by Indian engineers, in a span of 18 months. It will ply from Delhi to Varanasi. It Is possible to make world-class trains under Make in India.”

The Vande Bharat Express is a fully air-conditioned train that will have two stops on the route, which are in Allahabad and Kanpur.

The Vande Bharat Express is made in India, and this is why the government decided to go with its name, this is a gift to the people on the Republic Day. The Minister added that the prime minister will be requested to flag it off.
