As we all know Salman Khan isn’t just a superstar. He’s a demigod. His fans worship him. Yes, Bhai is more than just a craze, who makes it big at the box office with every year at the time of Eid. His film is nothing short of a festival for his fans.
And finally, his most awaited movie of the year “Tubelight” has hit the theaters today and from the celebrations, across Mumbai, it appears as if Eid has arrived early. Tubelight, set in the backdrop of 1963 India-china war, is an adaptation of Alejandro Gomez Monteverde’s Little Boy (2015).
It was expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2017 considering the fact that it had the amazing combo of Salman and Kabir who gave a couple of superhit movies in recent years; for instance, “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”.
However, this time it seems like the 51-year-old couldn’t create enough magic on the silver screen. The movie failed to get good reviews from critics and media houses.
As a result, Twitterati filled with mixed talk about the film. But many expressed their disappointment after watching the film and confessed how the plot was weak and failed to touch a chord. What’s surprising is that even Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo couldn’t charm the spectators.
