The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission or UKPSC is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of the state of Uttarakhand. The exams are Combined State/Upper Subordinate Preliminary Examination, Combined State/Upper Subordinate Main Examination. UKPSC released notification and invited online applications for the recruitment of 184 Group C posts in Naib Tehsildar, Supply Inspector, Tax Officer and Passenger Tax Superintendent posts in Revenue Department, Food and Civil Supples Department, Panchayati Raj Department and Transport Department. UKPSC Lower Subordinate Services Prelims Exam Pattern:

The exam would consist of 150 questions divided as Part 1 (General Studies – 100 questions) and Part 2 (General Aptitude Test – 50 questions). Each question carries 1 mark and there will be deduction of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.
