8 people were killed after a van fell into a gorge in Uttrakhand, also 10 people were severely injured. The horrible accident happened today, rescue operations have been called off after they got everyone out.

Senior Officer Dhirendra Gunjya said that the passengers were traveling to cremate a body, Office Gunjya was the person in charge of the rescue operation.

As the passengers were traveling to Ghat, when they reached Pithoragarh the van fell into a deep gorge in the Lohaghat area.

10 people were rushed to the nearest hospital and are currently stable.
