A footage has been captured where a husband is beating his wife brutally while their kid witnesses the whole incident. The incident took place in the Presidency Hotel in Punjab‘s Hoshiarpur district. In the video, the kid is seen pleading his father not to beat his mother, but the heartless husband seems in no mood to relent. Importantly, victim Ravinder Kaur and her husband Gagandeep live separately as they had earlier filed for divorce.

Kaur said she was celebrating her kid’s birthday in the Presidency Hotel, when her husband said he is taking the child home. “As my son doesn’t know his father, he started crying. When I tried to stop him, my husband started beating me,” Kaur added.

These type of incidents proves that women still have to fight for rights.
