Virender Sehwag Slaps Piers Morgan With Epic Tweet On India’s Olympic Celebration
Former Indian Opening Batsman Virender Sehwag is well-known for his hilarious and funny tweets on Twitter. He takes on everyone who is trending and also keeps in touch with the fans all the time.
Recently, after Indian Athletes Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu won the Olympic Medal for India in Rio Olympics, everyone is celebrating the moment and feeling proud of the two girls. British journalist Piers Morgan has posted a sarcastic tweet regarding India’s massive celebrations.
Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that? https://t.co/FYSBM7ErAf

This led Sehwag a war of tweets between him and Piers Morgan. Sehwag had replied with a slap and pulled back with a sarcastic tweet saying “Indians cherish every small happiness,” but England who invented the sport of cricket are yet to win a world cup.
Sehwag’s Epic Reply:
We cherish every small happiness’,
But Eng who invented Cricket,&yet2win a WC,still continue to playWC.Embarrassing? https://t.co/0mzP4Ro8H9— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) August 24, 2016
This tweet soon went viral within hours. Morgan didn’t go back down easily, he replied saying about Kevin Pietersen and he would have won it for England.
Very embarrassing, Legend.
If @KP24 was playing, we’d win the WC.
Just as we won T20 WC & he was Man of Series. https://t.co/50X5YMQSQU— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 24, 2016
Sehwag was very quick to remind Piers that Pietersen was from South Africa and not from England. Thus, Morgan was massively trolled on Twitter.
KP is a legend no doubt,bt wasnt he born in SA,&by ur logic Eng shd hv won 2007WC.
Why hv prblm wid our ppl, celbrtng https://t.co/ZigCrzVG05— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) August 24, 2016
However, Virender Sehwag has a hilarious take on Piers Morgan.
If India can produce a batsman as brilliant as @sachin_rt then it can produce Gold medal winning Olympians. Needs investment & focus.

@piersmorgan as 1.2 billion ppl attention wasn’t enough piers Morgan now rooted for God to get attention.. Clap @sachin_rt

1,200,000,000 people and not a single Gold medal at the Olympics?
Come on India, this is shameful.
Put the bunting away & get training.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 24, 2016
