A woman constable from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, filed a case against her colleague after she was blackmailed and repeatedly raped by a male constable.

The accused police officer reportedly threatened the survivor that he would post her nude photographs and illicit videos on social media platforms if she reported the ordeal to the police.

Manish Sharma, the male police constable, raped his colleague on several occasions.

SHO (Station House Officer) Rajendra Chaturvedi said that a woman constable residing at the DRP line lodged a complaint against a police constable.

The woman reportedly said that the constable raped her on a number of occasions and threatened to share her videos on social media if she reported the incident to anyone.

According to reports, the incident happened in Banganga Police Station Area.

The woman constable, the victim, lodged the complaint at the MG Road Police Station, which was later transferred to the Banganga Police Station.

The police at both police stations are looking for Manish Sharma, the constable that raped the woman constable.

The accused has been booked under rape, blackmailing, and other relevant charges under the Indian Penal Code.
