Maharashtra’s: Leopard Harms 3 people After Entering a Crowded Area
A video was posted on Friday that showed a leopard entering a crowded area in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, it took the official’s hours to catch the life threatening animal, it injured a local politican and 2 media workers.
A police official from the Gangapur Road Police station said that the leopard got into the Savarkar area early in the morning, it took the forest department staff to catch the leopard by 10:45 am.
A police official from the Gangapur Road Police said: “Local Shiv Sena corporator Santosh Gaikwad, television news channel cameramen Tabrez Shaikh and Kapil Bhaskar were injured by the leopard. They are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.”

Mr. Shiv was in the area to help control the large group of people gathered to see the rescue operation by the forest department, and the media personnel present in the area were trying to record a footage for their news channel when the animal attacked them.
A statement of the Forest Department officials stated that it was possible the leopard got in the Savarkar Nagar area from the forest and farms in the nearby area of Chandshi.
The forest department official added that the leopard will be sent free after the mandatory formalities will be done.
In the Nashik District are, there are a lot of wild life present, which includes wolves, hyenas, foxes, and leopards.
