I  is an upcoming 2015 Indian Tamil,Telugu,Hindi romantic thriller film. The movie is produced and distributed by V. Ravichandran under his production company, Aascar Films. The film was scripted and directed by Shankar and features Vikram and Amy Jackson leading an ensemble cast which include Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan portraying pivotal roles. The soundtrack album and background score was composed by A. R. Rahman. Production design was handled by T. Muthuraj. P. C. Sreeram was the film’s cinematographer and editing was done by Anthony .The dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi are also titled I. Chiyaan Vikram’s much awaited Romantic thriller flick ‘I’ is all set to arrive for this Pongal January 14th 2015.

The dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi are also titled I. Principal photography commenced on 15 July 2012. The filming lasted for two years and eight months, during which shooting was done extensively in China. Further schedules were filmed in locations in Chennai, Bangkok, Jodhpur, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Bangaloreand Mysore. Before the release of this “I” movie, it created many records in the YouTube with a large number of views for the official trailer in the south India. “I” Official trailer is viewed by more than 5 Million people and the teaser got more than 10 Million views from the people. “I” is the first (Tamil) film to get viewed by 5 Million people and it was first movie for getting 1 Crore views only to the Teaser. “I”  Movie has became the talk of the town in the Indian film industry as the visuals and dialogues in trailer are much impressive. Starring Vikram put hard work into his role shows the dedication towards the films (“I “Movie). Vikram will be shown in three different roles in the movie. First is Lingesan who aims to win MR.Tamil Nadu title, the other one (Second) is the modern character and the last one (Third) character is Hunch Back which is the most important character in the film. Actor Vikram has lost 25 kgs to play the third character ( Hunch back) role and he gained 50 kgs of weight to play beast character in the song “Ennodu Nee Irundhaal – Nee Jathaga – Tu Chale”. This gaining and losing weight shows his dedication and passions towards the films.
