Brahmotsavam is an upcoming Indian drama film written and directed by Srikanth Addala which is simultaneously being shot in Telugu and Tamil languages. Mahesh Babu’s most anticipated movie Brahmotsavam is running hard gearing up for the release. Makers are planning something big to release this movie.

As per the recent buzz, the movie will get released on May 27th 2016. Mahesh also forces the team to release the movie in May last week at any cost. Earlier makers thought about to release the movie on May 31st. But they changed their decision later because of two reasons.

Reasons Behind Brahmotsavam Movie Release:

It is releasing in two languages Telugu and Tamil, for the first time in the career of Mahesh Babu to lend his voice for Tamil version also. Brahmotsavam made under PVP Cinema banner, has three leading ladies – Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Pranitha Subash.

The reason behind the change of Brahmotsavam movie release is,it gives two weeks of time in India before schools start. There are two weeks of Summer holidays remains and the movie can be enjoyed with family members. Mahesh has one more reason to choose that date. That weekend happens to be a Memorial Day long weekend in USA. The following Monday, May 30th is also a holiday.

An overseas distributor said, “From a trade analyst’s point of view, this is the best weekend to release a movie in USA. Mahesh Babu proves himself in overseas even, the opening collections from overseas may fetch the box office collections of Brahmotsavam. This is the first long weekend of the year for most people and it is summer time. No excuses not to watch overseas King Mahesh babu’s movie. I won’t be surprised if Mahesh Babu breaches $700k if release is planned well unlike recent movies.

And if movie gets good talk, it can easily fetch $1.5 Million to $2 Million on opening weekend.” The overseas distribution rights are taken by Classic Entertainments for 13 Crores .
