The theatrical trailer of Arnold Schwarzenegger,Emilia Clarke launch pad ‘Terminator: Genisys’  (Jason Clarke) preparing for a final battle against the robotic forces of Skynet, before sending his best friend Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to protect his mother, whom he describes as “scared and weak.” Except, as the first appearance of Emilia Clarke demonstrates, she’s anything but. (She even gets to say the classic “Come with me if you want to live” line this time around.) From there, the trailer reveals the time paradox in play in the new movie, as an older Arnold Schwarzeneggerconfronts his younger self from the 1984 original movie. “Everything’s changed,” Connor says — except for the amount of carnage a Terminator movie delivers, it seems.

“Terminator Genisys”  is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridisand Patrick Lussier. It is the fifth installment in the Terminator series.  Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as the titular character, along with newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Lee Byung-hun, Dayo Okeniyi, Courtney B. Vance, Sandrine Holt, and J. K. Simmons. The film is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015.

The Genisys footage included here strives to offer a mix of nostalgia appeal – with that final shot of Arnold eying his robotic hand – and intrigue about what lies ahead, what with shots of Judgement Day happening around the globe and a (new?) version of the liquid metal T-1000 robot in action.
