3 Indian Men Arrested For Tying Firecrackers To Dog’s Tail During Diwali

Diwali is supposed to highlight good over the evil, but some of us are just not into what our peers and traditions have told us to do.
During this year’s Diwali, 2 reports were lodged at police stations, and the reports showed men tying a cracker to a stray dog’s tail.
3 people, which includes a student, were arrested by the Karnataka Police after 2 concerned citizens registered a complaint against them after watching the video.

Dileep Nadig, the founder of the Malenadu Wildlife and Cultural Foundation and Basava Prasad, the founder of the Animal Rescue Club, approached the police after they saw the horrible video.
Authorities took action right away and arrested 3 people.
2 of the men were working as sales executives and one was a student.
In the video above, 3 men could be seen tying a cracker to the tail of the stray dog with something that resembles a string.
The men in the video then lit up the cracker, and the dog, which could be seen scared, running helplessly not knowing what happened.
The dog then disappeared in the dark.
Authorities identified the 3 men as Bharath, Mithun, and Nithin. They are between 19-years-old to 21-years-old.
Dileep Nadig, the founder of the Malenadu Wildlife and Cultural Foundation, said, “The incident was reported on October 26 at BR Project, Singanamane, around 7.30 pm. It is learned that the accused lured the dog with a bun and tied a cracker to its tail. One from the group taped the act, and the video has since gone viral. “
The video above was uploaded on Shivamogga Trolls, a page on Facebook.
Nadig and the police tracked the men through the registration number of the vehicle that was seen in the video.
Bharath, Mithun, and Nithin are currently facing charges under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals act.
The police are still to release an official statement about the incident.
