102 Malnourished Dogs And Livestock Seized From Gladwin County House After Animal Cruelty Raid

Over 100 malnourished animals were seized from a Gladwin County residence this week, confirmed the authorities.

According to reports, troopers from the Michigan State Police West Branch Post investigated a house after responding to a complaint of animal cruelty at a Butman Township house this week.

The 40-year-old female homeowner will be facing charges after the investigation is completed and reviewed by the Gladwin County Prosecutor’s Office.

According to local news stations, 69 dogs and 43 livestock animals were found on the property.

A number of dead animals were also found on the property.

According to reports, many dead animals were not buried properly.

Dr. Jan Pol of Weidman, a star of the Disney Channel series “The Incredible Dr. Pol”, volunteered to help out the animals.

Neighbors also volunteered to care for the 43 goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, pigs, cows, and horses found on the property.

A number of Mid-Michigan humane societies and animal control agencies did their part and are currently taking care of the dogs that were found on the property.

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is also involved in the investigation that is being carried out by the authorities.
