Not a friend that you were thinking your son would bring back home after their play time.

A 4-year-old boy is making headlines all over the world for their hilarious act, where they were seen bringing back a baby deer back to their house after they went out and play.

Stephanie Brown was left surprised when her son Dominic, 4, showed up at their doorstep with the animal.

The family was on a vacation in Massanutten Resort, Virginia, when the boy brought back the baby deer.

Stephanie said that she was taking things out of the fridge on Tuesday when she heard footsteps and upon checking, she saw her son standing happily next to a baby deer.

The deer also looked really happy with the boy.

During an interview with WBTV, she said:

I see him and the baby deer standing next to each other almost to come inside! I was completely shocked! I froze for a second because I literally didn’t know what to do! 

Stephanie went back inside the house to grab her smartphone so she could take a picture of her son and the baby deer.

She later shared the picture on Facebook.

The picture has gone viral on social media, where it has over 28,000 shares and thousands of comments on Facebook alone.

The mother said her son wanted to bring the baby deer inside for some cereal.

The mother said she had to tell him that he needed to walk his new friend back to the woods so their mother could find them back.

Such an amazing thing to witness, right?
