Australian Man Filmed Repeatedly Punching Defenseless Kangaroo With Broken Back

New South Wales, Australia: A horrible video that is viral on social media right now shows a man repeatedly punching a kangaroo, which had a broken back, while his friends laughed out loud.

The video, which was first posted on Snapchat, went viral after it was shared on Facebook.

In the video, you can see a man, who’s barefooted, pulling the head of the kangaroo and repeatedly punching it in the face.

The helpless kangaroo can be seen raising its paws in a small bid to stop the attacks.

After a bunch of seconds, the kangaroo collapsed on the ground.

According to the person that shared the video on Facebook, the kangaroo in the video already had a broken attack.

It is believed that the video was filmed in NSW.

The New South Wales Police have also launched an investigation after the video of the incident went viral.

The spokesperson said, “Police are aware of videos circulating on social media regarding possible acts of animal cruelty. Police will not tolerate violence against animals in any capacity. The public are reminded not to report crime via social media.”

The New South Wales RSPCA received a report in relation to the animal cruelty that kangaroos face in the state.

The spokesperson of the NSW RSPCA told DailyMail Australia: “We take all allegations of animal cruelty very seriously and this matter is currently under investigation,’ the spokesperson said.”

The spokesperson added, “Everything that RSPCA NSW can do, which is appropriate and in accordance with the law, is being done. Privacy and legal considerations do not allow us to provide further information at this time.”
