Australian Zoo Gorillas Get Private Concert After Being Obsessed With Michael Bublé’s Christmas Album

Gorillas in an Australian zoo were so obsessed with the Christmas album of Michael Buble that the singer treated them to their own private concert.

Michael is known for his amazing Christmas songs such as the All I Want For Christmas Is You, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, and Jingle Bells.

He also has some songs that are not related to Christmas.

Humans usually listen to Michael Buble during the November to December months of each year, but the gorillas at the Werribee Open Range Zoo listen to his Christmas album all year long.

In the video, you can see the 44-year-old Canadian singer giving the gorillas their own private show.

He reportedly performed some of his Christmas hits in front of the gorillas.

After singing a couple of his songs to the Gorillas, Michael said, “Apparently when they [the gorillas] go to bed at night they sometimes play my Christmas music and so I was singing to them and I had no idea what would happen. It was amazing – their reaction was amazing.”

The singer was touring Australia this month and was performing with a 36-piece orchestra.

The orchestra was not in attendance for the gorilla’s live performance.

Ben Gulli, a gorilla keeper at the Werribee Open Range Zoo, said the gorillas love the low tones of Michael.

He explained, “So when we play Michael Bublé’s CDs, the boys instantly start pleasure grumbling and sit nice and calm and relaxed. Our theory is it’s the beautiful, low tones that he [Bublé] sings with and it kind of mimics their pleasure grumble.”

He added, “They’ve even been known to hum little food songs when they eat and we think he really resonates with that sound.”

The Werribee Open Range Zoo is home to three silverback gorillas.

Motoba and his two sons Ganyeka and Yakini are living at the open range zoo.
