Baby Monitor Catches Pet Dog Checking On Sister Every Single Night Just To Make Sure She’s Sleeping

Dogs are just wholesome and they are the most adorable things that we humans could have to make our lives better.

Berkley, a big fluffy dog, is known to have a big heart, and to prove how big that heart is, we bring you a video that was shared by his parents.

Berkley lives with Christine Jo Miller, her husband, and Elainey, their 2-year-old daughter.

Initially, the family thought that the energy of Berkley will be a problem for them and their small daughter, but that later changed.

During an interview with The Dodo, Miller said:

I used to have very far boundaries for him with her, since he’s so big. But the only thing that would make her happy was him being in the room. So once we gave him the OK to be around her … [we] realized how gentle he really is.

Elainey was around 8 months old when the Miller family set up multiple baby monitors in their room to keep track of where and what the baby is doing.

One day, they realized that they were not the only ones that were looking after their child.

After reviewing footage that was caught by the camera, they saw that Berkley was checking on Elainey on a nightly basis, making sure that she was asleep.

During the interview with The Dodo, Miller said:

We caught him the second we got the cameras. It was like he knew he had a job to do and it was to watch out for her.

The best thing about this story is that Berkley was doing it every single night.

The parents of the little girl are close by, so they hear everything happening inside the room of Elainey, but the parents said that their pet dog walks in very slowly to avoid waking up the little one.

Miller added:

He’s never gone in to do anything crazy. [He] just checks in and turns around and leaves, so I know it’s his duty to do as part of the family.

Elainey is now old, and she loves their pet dog, Berkley.
