Chinese Police Officers Save Golden Retriever From Freezing Lake
Kind-hearted police officers from China are currently viral on social media right now after they were caught on cam saving a golden retriever that accidentally fell inside a freezing lake during the winter season of the country.
Images that were shared on social media shows the officers saving the dog, which was reportedly wimping and crying after falling inside the lake.
Luckily, the dog was noticed by the officers and they rushed to help it out.
They ended up freeing the little one and helping the dog find its owner.
The incident reportedly happened in the Bing He Park, which is located in Bole, China.
According to reports, the police were called to the scene by the owner of the dog, who told them that their dog had fallen inside the icy water.
The temperature was around -16 degrees Celsius that day.
The dog would have passed away if they were not rescued on time.
During an interview with the local press, Shi Shuanlin, one of the police officers that rescued the dog, the officer said: “The dog was shivering and it couldn’t move at all.”
The police officers slowly got to the dog to make sure that the ice would not break.
The officer kneeled down and pulled the dog out of the water by grabbing their paw.
The condition of the dog was good and it was said in reports that the adorable retriever went home with their owner after being rescued.
