Extremely Rare Jaguar And Her 2 Cubs Slaughtered By Hunter In Brazil

The police have launched an investigation after images and a horrible video went viral social media, which showed a female rare jaguar and her 2 cubs lying dead in the back of a truck.

The horrible video was taken by an unknown woman.

The video shows the 3 dead jaguars in the back of a truck, and you could hear the woman praising the kill of the hunter.

The woman could also be heard complimenting the courage of the poachers.

In the video, you can see the woman lifting the animals’ paws and heads after dropping a comment about their big teeth. She then pointed the camera to a man, who authorities believe are the poachers.

In the same video, you can hear the poacher calling the woman “Carrapicho”. Authorities believe she is the person that is responsible for the death of the animals.

It is believed that the jaguars were shot with a rifle from a far distance.

In the video, Carrapicho said, “I was really scared. They were in the lake over there. When they saw me they ran and climbed a tree and were all together in the one tree watching me. Two of them are cubs and the biggest one is the mother.”

It is believed that the crime was committed last week in a remote area in Cocalinho, in mid-west Brazil.

Authorities have launched an official investigation about the search for the people in the video on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

On November 13, 2019, investigators found the vehicle that was seen in the footage, and they managed to find the property where the shooting happened.

Agents were met by a caretaker, who claimed to have arrived to check on the unoccupied property 4 days before.

The man in the video took credit for the horrible killing of the rare animals, authorities believe that he was helped by 2 other people.

The 3 main suspects of the killing are currently on the run, but the farm owner has been identified and is currently being questioned.

Valmon Pereira, an Animal welfare chief, said, “The footage was brought to our attention by outraged social media users.”

He added, “Since then, we’ve been out on the streets looking for clues because the remoteness of the area makes it difficult to identify the location from the images.”

He continued, “We found the rural property on [Wednesday] about 93 miles (150km) from central Cocalinho. The pickup truck that appears in the video was parked in a shed on the farm’s grounds, and indicates that this is where the environmental crime occurred.”

According to the WWF, jaguars are listed in the near-threatened species list.

Reports suggest that there are only 170,000 jaguars left in the wild.
