In Madhya Pradesh, India, a dog saw that a baby monkey was separated from its mother and decided to help the poor animal out.

The incident happened in Baleh, Sagar District in Madhya Pradesh.

The dog brought the sad monkey to a police station, where it could get some help.

The 2 animals got to see each other on October 21, 2019.

In a video that went viral, it showed the monkey hopping onto the back of the dog as they went for a ride to the nearest police station.

A police officer found the dog with the monkey and decided to help.

Awadhesh Dubey, the in charge of the Sagar Baleh Police Station, decided to give bananas to the monkey so it can get some food.

Talking about what happened, Officer Dubey said, “I have never seen such a thing, seeing this example of help was a pleasant feeling.”

The monkey reportedly got separated from its mother after it was captured by a group of men who placed a chain around the neck of the animal.

The dog found the baby monkey near a lake.

Instead of leaving it behind, the dog decided to help the poor animal and helped it out by giving him a free ride.

The baby monkey had a chain on its neck when it was brought to the police station.

The local forest officials were called in and the chain was removed.

The forest officials returned the monkey to the wild.
