Australian Man Cooks Roast Pork In Car During Heatwave

A man from Perth has successfully cooked a pork roast in a hot car during a heatwave in Australia.

Stu Pengelly, the man, placed a slab of pork that was in a baking tin on the car seat of his red Datsun sedan for 10 hours.

Stu, who is from Perth, Western Australia, shared the entire process on Facebook and posted images and videos of the roast pork.

In a post that he made on Facebook Stu said, “It worked a treat!”

Stu also shared the temperatures of that day, which was at “staggering 81 degrees Celsius inside temperature”.

Stu’s main point for the video was to raise awareness about not leaving any person or pet inside vehicles during the heatwave.

Stu wrote on the post: “Do not leave anyone or anything precious to you in a hot car, not for a minute.”

Stu now wants to try cooking roast beef in his red Datsun vehicle.

Perth has recorded 10 days this month with temperatures over 35 degrees Celsius.
