A drunk man from Utah saw an injured baby drink, but the problem was that he was too drunk and could not drive the poor little bird to a treatment center.

So instead of risking his life and the life of other drivers, the man decided to call on an Uber so they could transport the injured baby bird to a wildlife treatment center.

The incredible and eye-opening incident happened last week.

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah said that they received a call last week from a man who was “drunk” and said that he found a baby lesser goldfinch that was struggling.

The drunk man wanted to save the baby and bring it to the treatment center but said that he was too drunk to drive his car.

Instead of risking the lives of other people, the man decided to call an Uber and told the driver to bring the bird to the wildlife rehabilitation center.

In a post that was made by the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah, the center shared the incredible story.

The center said, “What do you do when you find a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, but you’ve had a few too many?”

They added, “WELL, this rescuer called an UBER driver!”

According to Dalyn Marthaler, the director of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah, the bird was dehydrated and was thin when it came to them.

The director added that the bird is expected to make a full recovery.

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah also named the baby bird as “Petey”.
