Madrid Man Has Genitals Burned After Being Struck By Lightning
A 61-year-old man’s genitals were burned after he was struck by lightning in Madrid, Spain.
On the morning of Tuesday this week, a 61-year-old man’s genitals were burned after he was struck by lightning.
The man, who was identified by the authorities, was standing in his garden on Cieza Street in the city of Torrelodones in the Autonomous Community of Madrid when the incident happened.
According to reports, the man was holding an umbrella when the bolt struck through his left leg, which caused burned around it, including his genitals.
According to a news agency in Madrid, Spain, the lightning strike went through his umbrella-carrying right hand first and injured his groin.
A spokesperson of the emergency services said:
He has serious burns on the exit area around his genitals and left leg.
The man was initially treated by paramedics at his house. He was then transported o Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital.
The current whereabouts and the condition of the 61-year-old man is unknown.
