Over a petty issue, a Texas father shot a barber 3 times for messing up a 13-year-old’s haircut.

The 13-year-old boy stopped at the Magic’s Kutts and Fades outside Houston on Saturday for a haircut and left without any problems.

Later that day, the father brought the boy back to the shop later that night and told the barber that he messed the kid’s cut.

The barber repaired the hair of the boy without charging any extra money, but the father kept on complaining.

Deputies are at a barber shop in the 23900 block of Franz Rd, where a male employee appears to have been shot by a customer, who then fled. The victim has been taken to the hospital. Condition unknown at this time. #hounews pic.twitter.com/ukI2cmEAzO

The matter got so intense that the barber and the dad got in a fight in the parking lot, where the father of the 13-year-old boy pulled out a gun and shot the barber 3 times.

The father shot the barber in his leg, arm, and stomach.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the father left the scene in a 4-door sedan, which authorities believe is a Honda Accord.

The father has not been apprehended or publicly identified.

The barber is expected to survive and is currently listed in a stable condition.

Authorities are combing surveillance footage and are wanting to speak to both the 13-year-old and his father in connection to the shooting.

Wallace Wyatt, a detective with the Harris County, said, “The argument was over the 13-year-old son’s haircut. He went home, came back. They fixed the haircut for free and then that’s when the altercation occurred.”

Detective Wyatt added, “That is one of the worst ones I’ve heard, especially with your son being here, witnessing what you’re doing.”

Investigators have identified the man that was involved in the barbershop shooting.
