A man has been accused of murdering the worst pedophile in Britain.

The prisoner carried out the killing with a self-made murder bag, heard a court.

Paul Fitzgerald allegedly bound the wrists and ankles of Huckle with cable ties and strangled him with an electrical cable sheath.

The prisoner then inserted a pen into his brain and penetrated his anus with a blunt object.

The incident happened on October 13, 2019.

The Hull Crown Court heard that Fitzgerald was found straddling the body of Huckle at HMP Full Sutton, which is near York.

The prosecution claims that Fitzgerald killed Huckle for the crimes that he had carried out.

Huckle was imprisoned for abusing around 200 vulnerable youngsters in Southeast Asia.

Authorities called him “Britain’s worst pedophile.”

The defendant denies the murder.

Prison officers went to the cell of Huckle after receiving a tip-off from another 2 inmates that something was happening there.

One prison officer said that he was aware of intelligence that Fitzgerald had a murder bag that he would carry around with him.

Jurors also head that Fitzgerald had told healthcare staff just days after the killing that he had murdered him in cold blood.

During a review with the prison and healthcare staff, Fitzgerald told how he still had an intention to kill 2 or 3 other people.

He also told the staff of the hospital that he wanted to have some of the body parts of Huckle cooked.

A staff member of the prison said that Fitzgerald was emotionless and calm after the incident.

The killer also showed no remorse after the killing.

Fitzgerald also told the prison officers that he had 2 shanks, a word for a makeshift knife, inside his cell.

Huckle, the pedophile, and Fitzgerald were inmates on Full Sutton’s Delta wing.

The prison is a house for vulnerable people that cannot cope with the general prison population.

Before the killing, Fitzgerald was prescribed medication for a personality disorder.

But according to reports, he was not prescribed any when he killed the pedophile.

Huckle was branded the worst pedophile of Britain after he was jailed for a number of crimes in 2016.

He was given a minimum of 25 years in prison for a horrific campaign of rape against children.

He did that for 9 years.

Huckle reportedly bragged on the dark web about his crimes against Malaysian children.

He did horrifying acts on children and babies that are young as 6 months.

The pedophile visited Southeast Asia on a gap year and returned posing as a teacher and as a respectable Christian.

He did that to gain the trust of small and impoverished communities.

He was caught after he shared images and videos of his assaults with pedophiles from all over the world.

He tried to make a business out of his horrific crimes by crowdfunding the release of images.

What a horrible human being he was.
