Bihar Panchayati Raj Department to commence the online applications for 4192 posts of Accountant Cum IT and Technical Assistant from 12 Noon, today (28th August). Earlier, the department scheduled the starting date of online application submission as 16th August but due to some valid reasons, it wasn’t started that day. Applications submission must be done before 3 PM on 27th September. Candidates can apply online for the advertised posts through biharprd.bih.nic.in.

A merit list will be prepared for the final selection on the basis of

• Technical Assistant: marks secured in the diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Accountant cum IT: marks scored by the applicant in B.Com. Those who have also completed M.Com/ CA will be given a bonus of 20 marks. Candidates who will be selected will have to undergo three month computer training.

Age limit:

Applicant’s minimum age must be 21 years as on 1st August. And, the maximum age limit is as follows.

• For the male candidates belonging to Unreserved category: 37 years,
• For BC/ OBC candidates (male & female): 40 years,
• For Female candidates of the unreserved category: 40 years,
• For SC/ ST candidates (male & female): 42 years.

Educational Qualifications:

• Accountant-cum-IT Assistants: The candidates must possess a B.Com degree from a recognised university,
• Technical Assistant: candidate must have completed the diploma degree in Civil Engineering from a certificate Polytechnic Institute.

First of all, candidates may have to make registration first. Then, the registration ID and password will be generated through which, applicants have to log in. Then, candidates will have to enter details in the application form. All the personal details, contact details and qualifications must be entered correctly.

Those who are eligible for both the posts can apply online for both Technical Assistant and Accountant-cum-IT Assistants but applications must be submitted separately for each post. Otherwise, the link will be disabled later.

If two candidates have secured equal marks, then, the candidate with higher age will be given more preference.
