BPSC Recruitment 2018 (1255 Posts), Registration Starting From 3rd August

Bihar Public Service Commission circulated a notification yesterday (2nd August) for BPSC Recruitment 2018. According to that notice, there are 1255 vacancies for the posts of Revenue Officer, Supply Inspector, Block Panchayati Raj Officer, Block Welfare Officer, Rural Development Officer, Assistant Registrar Cooperation Committees, Bihar Police Service and many others. Keen candidates can make registration from 3rd August to 20th August, Payment of application fee must be done till 24th August and candidates can submit application forms before 31st August.

Before moving on to registration, contenders must fulfil all the eligibility conditions.

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must complete graduation from any of the recognised university before appearing in the examination. Applicants need to provide complete details of their qualification in the BPSC recruitment 2018 form.

Age Limit: Applicant must have attained the minimum age of 20 years of age as on 1st August 2018. Maximum age limit for unreserved category male candidates is 37 years, 40 years for unreserved female candidates and those belong to Other Backward Classes and 42 years for SC/ ST candidates.

  • The complete enrollment procedure is divided into three parts.
  • At first, candidates need to make registration by filling out some basic details. After that, the registration ID and password would be provided.
  • Then, contenders need to make the fee payment (as prescribed below).
  • After fee payment, candidates will be able to submit their applications.
  • Authority will accept online applications only and incorrect or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Candidates must keep the entered email address and contact number active until the BPSC recruitment 2018 procedure ends up. The photograph provided for the application form, contenders must keep at least 5 copies of the same photo for future preferences.

Unreserved category candidates and those from other states need to pay Rs. 600/- as application fee while female, SC/ ST and PwD candidates need to pay Rs. 150/-. After final submission of application, candidates need to download the filled application form.

For the selection of suitable candidates, the preliminary examination will be conducted first. Those who would qualify this test will have to appear for the next level Mains exam. Application for the next level must be submitted separately.
