CBI Recruitment 2018 For Inspector Posts, Submit Forms Before 12th September

Central Bureau of Investigation is looking for retired and service Police Officers of the rank of Inspector and above for appointment as Inspector on contract basis for one or more until the vacancies get filled by promotion of deputation. For the recruitment, the department has issued a notification according to which, once the contract duration gets over, no person shall have rights to claim the regularisation in the department. Interested candidates can fill the application forms utilising the offline facility.

  • CBI, ACB, Patna: 03

Educational Qualification: Applying candidate must be holding a graduation from any of the recognised university/ institutions.

Retired officers of the Central/ State Police Forces of the rank of Inspector or above with 10 years of experience in Investigation and Prosecution of Criminal Cases in the Court of Law are eligible for the appointment. Such candidates will be contracted on whole time appointment and will not have the right to undertake any part time private employment during the period of the contract.

Candidates cannot apply online, forms are available online from the official website www.cbi.gov.in. They need to download the application and take a print out of it. Then, fill the application form and send it with the requisite documents to the address of given in the notification for a zone.

Incorrect or incomplete application forms will not be accepted. Candidates need to fill the form and submit it to the department before last date – 12th September.

CBI is Operating under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. The department was formed in 1941 as the Special Police Establishment.
