Education Recruitment Board Announced Exam Dates For Lecturer Vacancies

For a total of 156 lecturer posts, the Society for Promotion of Quality Education for Poor and Meritorious students of Punjab accepted applications from 28th June to 7th July. Now, the board has announced the exam dates for the examination. Exams are scheduled to be held on 11th and 12th August (as given in the notification). For the same examination, admit cards are to be provided soon. For more information, candidates can log in to their account using user ID and password.

Candidates who have submitted their applications correctly and successfully will be able to download their admit cards using the login option. The Society provided the notification for the exam dates on 21st July.

Applications were accepted of only those applicants who satisfy the eligibility conditions. Educational Qualifications: a candidate must have passed the post graduation in the relevant subject and qualified B.Ed. Must have knowledge of Punjabi language of matriculation standard. Candidates qualified the National Eligibility Test will be given more preference.

As per the age criteria, candidate’s age should not be below than 18 years and above 37 years. The age limit was relaxable for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST or OBC category. As per the notification, selection of candidates will be made on the basis of performance in the written test.


Documents that were to be submitted along with the application form were – Proof of date of birth (certificate of matriculation/ higher secondary). Proof of passed Punjabi language upto matriculation, Relevant degree and DMC certificate, Reserve category certificate issued by the competent authority, certificate as proof of age relaxation, proof of being the government employee (if applicable), copy of Bank Challan etc.

Once the admit cards would be issued, all the candidates must carry the same to the exam venue as this document works as the identity proof of a candidate. The candidate found without the admit card will be restricted from being entered inside the venue. Contenders should read all the instructions and follow them on the exam date. Whenever the admit card be issued, authority will provide a direct link to download the same.
