Haryana Public Service Commission is inviting applications in continuation of advertisement number 6 of 2016 published on 20th March 2017 from eligible candidates for the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the cadre of Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch). Candidates who applied against the advertisement 6 issued on 20th March 2017 need not apply again for HPSC Civil Judge recruitment 2018. Eligibility requirements shall remain the same for these candidates as advertised in the advertisement published on 20.3.2017.

HPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2018

Age Limit: Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not older than 42 years as on 30th September 2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes (A & B) of Haryana state only.

Educational Qualifications: Interested candidate must hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws before 30th September 2018 from a university established by the law and recognised by the Bar Council of India.

Candidates can apply online through hpsc.gov.in. Candidates don’t need to submit any certificate in support of their claims of reservation, educational qualifications, age etc. along with the applications. Certificates will be checked at the time of main written examination.

Application Fee: 

• Rs. 1000/- for the male candidates of General category and male candidates of other states (even belonging to reserved categories),
• Rs. 250/- for female candidates of general category including female dependent of ESM of Haryana, female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other states and male and female candidates of SC/ BC-A & B/ ESM categories of Haryana.
• All physically handicapped candidates (with at least 40% disability) categories of Haryana are exempted from the fee payment.

For the final selection, candidates will conduct three stages – preliminary examination, main examination and Viva-Voce. The preliminary examination will be objective type. Total 125 multiple choice questions will present in the question paper and each question carries four marks. Two hours duration will be given to candidates to complete the test. 0.80 mark shall be deducted as negative marking for attempting a question incorrectly. OMR sheets of preliminary exam will be scanned by the computer and thus, there no provision of re-checking/ re-evaluation of OMR sheets.
